The Opportunity
This Sales Manager role focuses on machine sales and managing key accounts within the equipment hire industry. Balancing relationship management with proactive business development, the role is ideal for a results-driven professional looking to grow market share while maintaining a premium brand reputation. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be part of a technically skilled sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of machines, parts, and maintenance services;
- Manage key accounts and build long-term client relationships;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the capital equipment sector;
- Optimise pricing strategies and enhance company margins;
- Provide expert guidance on product features, warranties, and service support; and
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What You Need
- 2-5 years of experience in capital equipment, access equipment, or construction sales;
- Strong understanding of the equipment hire industry and its market dynamics;
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive new business;
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Self-motivated, independent worker with strong collaboration skills; and
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
