About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Prima PMI Pty Ltd in Noble Park North, VIC. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of our warehousing team. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Management of stock transfers
  • Mentorship and training of Warehouse Assistant team
  • General packing and dispatch, addressing facility related issues promptly
  • Assisting the Inventory Controller to complete:
  • Consumption counting
  • Spare part inventory, goods receipting and counting
  • Stock defect counting
  • Forklift operation across two facilities
  • Implementation of OHS standards
  • Waste management (general and compactor)
  • Loading and unloading of trucks

What we're looking for

  • A valid forklift licence – experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts is essential.
  • Experience in packing and dispatch
  • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred however training will be provided.
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to understand and follow operating procedures
  • Ability to manually lift up to 15kg
  • Proactive and fast paced individual with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • OH&S knowledge
  • Medium to Heavy rigid vehicle licence favourable
