About the Role
- Full-time, replacement contract (potential for permanency)
- Start Term 2 (Monday 28th April 2025) – Concluding End of Term 4 (Friday 12th December 2025)

We are seeking a Design Technologies Teacher who is passionate about equipping students with the technical and creative skills to thrive in the digital age. As a teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across various year levels, incorporating Industry 4.0 concepts such as automation, robotics, and digital design. You will foster innovation by encouraging students to apply design thinking and problem-solving skills to real-world challenges while supporting student growth through differentiated learning opportunities. Working within a dynamic team, you will collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching practices. Additionally, you will inspire the next generation by guiding students in exploring pathways into STEM-related careers and further education.
As the Learning Area Leader – Design Technologies, you will foster a culture of innovation and excellence while developing future-focused curricula integrating Industry 4.0 concepts like automation, AI, and robotics. Through hands-on learning, you will engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving while collaborating with STEM programs, industry partners, and educators to provide real-world applications. You will mentor teachers, promote best practices, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance professional growth. Ensuring excellence, you will align curricula with Australian and IB standards, preparing students for a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
About You
We’re looking for a passionate educator who:
✔ Has experience teaching Design Technologies with experience/knowledge of Industry 4.0
✔ Creates engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
✔ Works collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families
✔ Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student wellbeing
✔ Knowledge of IB programmes is a bonus, but not essential
