The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English and Humanities Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in literature, writing, history, and social studies, fostering a love of learning and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities include designing curriculum-aligned lesson plans, teaching English and Humanities, fostering an inclusive classroom environment, assessing student progress, integrating technology into instruction, and collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student growth.

The Year Level Leader – Year 8 drives student success through strong leadership, collaboration, and high expectations. This role supports staff, students, and parents in fostering a positive and high-trust environment that enhances student wellbeing, academic achievement, and personal growth. Responsibilities include overseeing learning programs, supporting staff development, implementing school-wide processes, analysing student data, and ensuring early intervention for student success. The leader will also coordinate pastoral and academic care initiatives while working closely with the Deputy Principal and Head of School.
