The Role

As a Senior English & English Literature Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire students to think critically, write persuasively, and appreciate the depth of literary works. You will be responsible for leading senior English classes, preparing students for examinations, and fostering a love for literature in an interactive and stimulating learning environment. Additionally, you will contribute to curriculum development, mentor students, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s academic standards.

The Learning Area Leader – English drives innovative, high-quality teaching, ensuring student growth through effective resource use and curriculum alignment with SACE and IB. They lead staff in fostering inclusive, data-driven learning environments, mentor colleagues, and promote inquiry-based approaches to develop student agency and future-ready skills.

About You

We’re looking for a passionate educator who:

✔ Knowledge of IB programmes is a bonus, but not essential
