Position

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing firm as a Senior Accountant in a remote capacity. Your role will blend both compliance and advisory, giving you a chance to handle everything from tax returns and financial statements to more strategic forecasting. The firm’s clients, spread across Australia, present a diverse range of challenges and business models, ensuring that you'll always be intellectually stimulated. You'll also enjoy genuine flexibility in how, when, and where you work.

• Prepare and review BAS, financial statements, and tax returns for a range of private entities
• Participate in monthly commercial strategy discussions to support clients’ growth
• Leverage in-depth relationships with clients to anticipate issues and plan solutions
• Collaborate closely with the director and multiple office locations—no siloed teams
• Opt for early starts or remote setups to accommodate your schedule and lifestyle

Candidate

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting.
• CA/CPA qualified
• Currently based in South-East QLD (no overseas applicants will be considered)
• Strong foundation in compliance, but eager to expand into business advisory (Advantageous if you've worked on SMSF's)
• Good communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Previous experience in a WFH/remote/hybrid work arrangement, demonstrating the ability to excel independently.
