The Role
My client, a well-respected Accounting Firm and Wealth Management practice find their team rapidly expanding.

As the Senior Accountant you will provide excellent client service through high-quality, timely, and cost-effective accounting and business services. Responsibilities include leadership, technical expertise, business development, and preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and GST returns. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships, ensuring value is continuously added.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns
• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Provide training and mentoring to junior accountants
• Provide client assistance with compliance issues

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years public practice accounting experience is essential
• CA or CPA qualified
• Knowledge of accounting software including Xero and MYOB
• Excellent attention to detail and financial acumen
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
