Our client is a mid-tier Accounting practice based in the Perth CBD specializing in providing tax and business advice to its diverse client portfolio. With Directors running strong client portfolios, the opportunity to commence at a Senior level and progress to Manager whilst building your own client listing is clearly defined for the right person.

Role and responsibilities:

• Working on complex client accounts
• Exceptional research skills including being able to prepare written advice to clients
• Developing Client Management Skills
• Strong problem solving, communication and analytical thinking skills
• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Experience on cloud based software (Xero, MYOB etc) including mentoring clients on their use
• Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
• Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
• Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
• Providing advice to a large and varied client base.
• Managing and monitoring staff performance and reviews and conducting training sessions.

The Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• 4+ years Australian tax and business services experience preferably within mid-tier or Big 4 firm
• CA/CPA qualified
• Experience dealing directly with clients is essential
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong team mentality and ability to work closely with peers
