Landscape Estimator – Step Off the Tools & Into a Key Role!

AHLG is on the hunt for a Landscape Estimator—a role perfect for an experienced landscaper ready to step off the tools while still staying connected to the action.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the pre-construction phase, assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and working alongside our management and design team to bring outdoor spaces to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Project Analysis: Evaluate project plans and specifications
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and competitive estimates
• Material & Labor Assessment: Ensure accurate project pricing
• Bid Preparation: Develop compelling bids for upcoming projects
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain clear and concise records
• Team Engagement: Join in on some a-grade banter and enjoy egular team BBQs and other social events.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Landscape Estimator or similar role in construction
• An experienced landscaper who is ready to get off the tools but stay in the industry with a growing team
• Knowledge of landscape construction materials, methods & best practices
• Confidence in using estimating software & Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, mathematical & problem-solving skills
• Efficient time management – able to juggle deadlines like a boss
• Excellent communication & attention to detail
• A team player who’s ready to make a difference
