Position: Landscape Tradesman
Location: Various, Office/Shed based in Somerton Park

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Landscaping Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the landscaping industry, with expertise in a wide range of outdoor services including hardscaping, softscaping, wet-lay paving, concreting and general landscaping tasks. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work while ensuring that projects are completed in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesman to advance their career with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement in-house & externally designed landscaping projects, including hardscaping, planting, and irrigation plans.
• Ability to read & convey plans on site and problems solve where required.
• Manage day-to-day tasks on job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
• Help lead and supervise a crew, ensuring efficient operations and quality workmanship.
• Operating machinery on-site
• Communicate with clients, understanding their needs and providing expert recommendations.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are adhered to on every project.
• Maintain and operate landscaping equipment and tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a landscape contractor.
• Proven ability to manage landscaping projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and hardscaping materials.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Construction Industry White Card

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification 3 in Landscape Construction.
• Experience with irrigation systems and design.
• Skid Steer/Excavator qualification
