The opportunity

Phoenix Mecano Australia Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial components, is seeking a talented Sales Associate to join our team in Wangara, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for assisting with our sales growth and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing enquiries and processing orders from key accounts
• Selling and promoting our extensive product range via phone and email
• Building strong, long-term customer relationships
• Liaising with suppliers and managing purchase orders
• Assisting with warehouse operations and deliveries
• Supporting in-house builds of customised equipment
• Driving and making deliveries to customers and sites
• Using computers for order processing and sales support
• Supporting general business operations as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales/sales support role, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
• Familiarity with electrical or related industries would be well-regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• A professional personal presentation, excellent communication skills, and a positive outlook
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach
• Full Australian working rights (Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to use a Walkie Stacker
• Previous experience in the electrical wholesale industry will be looked on favourably.
