This is a full-time role that will support the Business Manager to drive client acquisition, retention, and engagement through active engagement utilising our CRM, internal processes and creativity to ensure follow ups, social media outreach, and direct client communications are executed diligently.

In addition to sales responsibilities, this role provides operational and administrative support and follow up of deliverables to the clientele that we support, including arranging travel, organising marketing materials for conferences/exhibitions. A background in frontline emergency services or defense is highly desirable, the role would also suit someone who has a family connection to either defense or emergency services.

What you will be doing

  • Work with our administrative support team to succeed at cold calling and social media outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients, presenting tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high retention and satisfaction.
  • Assist the Business Manager with sales tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Manage CRM system, client database, and follow-up processes.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure client feedforward is passed through to our operations team when and where it is appropriate.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, document preparation, and operational coordination.
  • Book travel arrangements (flights, hotels, transport) for business trips, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Organise marketing materials (brochures, promotional items, presentations) for events and exhibitions.
  • Research potential government and industry contracts relevant to the company’s services.
  • Monitor contract portals, government procurement sites, and industry RFP (Request for Proposal) listings.
  • Review proposals and assist in preparing responses to government and industry tenders.
  • Support the Business Manager in identifying bidding opportunities and compliance requirements.

  • Background in law enforcement, or defense is viewed favourably whether that’s frontline or in the operations centre.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Strong organisational skills for handling travel bookings and event logistics.
