The Opportunity

This is a hands-on trade sales role in our Building Hardware & Timber Yard, where punctuality and reliability are critical. This role offers a pathway for career advancement, with the potential to grow into Sales Representative and other positions within the company.

Your Role

• Assist Trade Customers: Provide expert advice on building hardware, timber, and construction materials.
• Process Orders: Handle transactions through POS systems in person, via phone, and email.
• Stock Management: Keep the showroom neat, organised, and well-stocked.
• Collaboration: Work with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Customer Service Excellence: Handle inquiries with a professional, can-do attitude.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in trade sales, customer service, or retail (construction or building materials experience is a plus).
• Confidence in using POS and EFTPOS systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and professional attitude, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of building hardware, timber, or construction materials (preferred but not essential).
