About the role

What you'll be doing

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations
• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your territory
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activities
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to share best practices and support each other's success
• Participate in product training to stay up-to-date with the latest offerings
• Contribute to the development of effective sales strategies and initiatives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the Timber & Building supplies industry
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build lasting relationships
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
• A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel within your designated territory
