We are also a Treatment Provider of Psychotherapy, under our Touchdown Talk arm of our business.

Qualifications & experience
- We are looking for a motivated and experienced Psychologist or Clinical Counsellor / Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in a hybrid role.
- The role will involve providing both clinical psychological treatment and rehabilitation consulting services, in either Sydney, Newcastle or Central Coast.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in Psychology (registered with AHPRA) or Rehabilitation Counselling (a member of ASORC, PACFA or ACA Level 3 or 4 or willingness to obtain).
- The successful candidate will also have a minimum of 12 months experience within occupational rehabilitation.
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Client centric focus
Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Counselling component:
- Focuses on helping clients navigate the emotional and psychological challenges they face after an injury or illness, with the goal of returning to work (RTW). As a counsellor, you will provide a supportive environment where clients can address mental health concerns like anxiety, stress, and trauma that may arise due to their condition.
- Collaboration with rehabilitation specialists and allied health professionals to create a holistic, personalised RTW plan that incorporates both mental and physical recovery.
- Provide ongoing psychological support throughout the rehabilitation process to ensure sustained progress toward RTW goals.
The Rehabilitation Consulting Component:
- Manage client caseloads, offering tailored guidance on physical and psychological recovery, and return-to-work strategies.
- Conduct a range of assessments, including Vocational and Initial Needs Assessments.
- Attend Medical Case Conferences with various specialists and practitioners.
- Build and sustain relationships with Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Employers, Insurers, and Brokers.
