Maintenance Labourer (Masonry)

We currently have the opportunity for someone who’s skilled in maintenance and stone and construction works to join us in the role of Maintenance Labourer (Masonry).
In this role you will:
- Assist with the maintenance of stones walls
- Assist in the preparation, pouring and finishing of concrete structures
- Assist in the maintenance of footpaths, including clay pavers
- Undertake the installation of signage, painting and line marking and with the installation of pipe work
- Undertake general tree pruning and removal under supervision
- Undertake maintenance work as directed on all other Council assets
- Undertake traffic control in accordance with Council policies
- Work in accordance with relevant SWMS.
What we offer...
- Permanent full-time role, nine day working fortnight equivalent to working 38 hours per week
- Annual salary from $56,288 to $62,057 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Progressive salary up to $68,419
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- A minimum Class LR Drivers Licence
- A WHS Construction Induction White Card
- A Safe Work NSW Traffic Control Blue card – Traffic Controller
- A Safe Work NSW Traffic Control Yellow card – Traffic Management Implementer
- General handyperson and labouring experience
- General literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
