About the Organisation
An ASX listed company, our client is the second largest almond producer globally, and a leader in the farming, manufacturing, processing and wholesale of nuts and health foods. With orchards across the country, the head-office is located in Richmond, with a culture that is friendly and down to earth. The dynamic CEO has a vision and strategy to grow the business and he leads with an energetic, fast-paced and forward-thinking approach. He is in need of an experienced, efficient and pro-active EA who wants to step-up and be involved to really help support his vision and drive culture within the head-office team.
About the Role
As EA to the CEO, you'll be the central conduit within the office and the main point of contact for the Executive Team and Board. You'll provide high level support to the CEO, managing his diary, meeting schedule, travel arrangements and inbox, pre-empting his needs, making sure he's prep'd for meetings and paying great attention to detail on all the small things. You'll liaise with the Board, coordinate agendas and minutes, and will manage all events, including strategy days, investor site visits, the AGM and staff functions etc. There's plenty of scope to add value and help on projects, as well as the opportunity to bring your strong leadership skills to the fore as you create staff engagement and team building initiatives for the office.
Responsibilities
- Complex diary management for the CEO
- Coordination of meetings and agendas
- Email management
- Coordination of international and regional travel, including visas, itineraries etc
- Organising corporate events (strategy days, dinners, Board and staff functions etc)
- Produce reports and presentations
- Coordinate all Board and Committee meetings, including the AGM
- Collate and prepare Board Papers and distribute minutes using Diligent
- Assist with ASX lodgements, press releases and key company announcements
- Oversee office management and create staff engagement initiatives
- Participate in projects to drive process and systems improvements
- Help project manage an upcoming office move or refurb
Skills and Experience
This is a key role where your high-level EA skills will really come to the fore. We're looking for someone with experience supporting a fast-paced CEO, who can step-up, get involved and add great value to the team. Your strong attention to detail, great communication skills and ability to lead and influence and a busy environment will be critical as you keep constantly one step ahead in this busy, varied role.
