Following a recent acquisition and significant growth, we are looking for a Key Account Administrator to join our team. This role, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, is integral to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
This full-time position, based in Melbourne, provides a flexible hybrid work arrangement. As an essential member of the Admin/Customer Service team, you'll oversee the entire order process, working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, procurement, warehouse, and logistics. This is not a call center role—while you may handle up to 10 calls per day, the main focus will be on key account administration, managing a busy shared inbox, and ensuring efficient customer order processing through email and other communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer orders while ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Address, investigate, resolve, and report on customer complaints and consumer inquiries.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support overall business operations.
About You:
- Proven experience in a Sales Admin / Customer Service team within the FMCG industry, ideally with order processing experience for major retailers such as Coles, Woolworths, Costco, Aldi, Metcash, and/or Reject Shop.
- Solid experience in managing customer and consumer complaints.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with B2B Ecommerce Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is advantageous.
