Technical/Platform Owner required for major program to rebuild customer engagement channels on a multi year initiative
This is a super high profile program of work for a major enterprise organisation that is right at the very start. You will also be instrumental in building and shaping a new squad from scratch.
3 days a week in the office
12m contract up front

About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in driving the rebuild of customer-facing channels and APIs.
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders, to define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable solutions.
Your ability to bridge the gap between technical and business requirements as well as being the business facing representative will be key in shaping the success of this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the new customer channels and APIs.
- Build and lead a new product squad, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Own the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure on-time delivery of features.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with designers to create seamless user experiences across customer touchpoints.
- Drive the development of scalable and robust APIs, ensuring they meet performance, security, and user needs.
- Manage product lifecycle from ideation to implementation, ensuring products are delivered in an agile environment.
- Leverage data and customer feedback to continuously improve and refine product features.
- Coordinate and communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing updates and reporting on progress.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner with expertise on customer-facing products, APIs, or platforms in enterprise environments
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams and understand complex technical concepts.
- Experience in building or scaling products, particularly customer channels and APIs.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
