Protech are looking for multiple production and manufacturing workers for our Valued Client in Wagga Wagga NSW, DSM Nutritional Products.

ABOUT THE ROLE/s
- Rostered shifts are Monday to Friday for approx. 8 hours per shift +overtime when available.
- Opportunities available to be offered a Permanent Employment Contract with Protech at DSM.
- Approx. gross weekly earnings $1200+.
- Day shift from 6am, Afternoon shift from 12pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks included are the weighing of ingredients, Hand tipping, Packing and forklift movements.
- Weigh materials according to the set targets.
- Be the first line of problem solving and maintenance of your assigned plant and equipment.
- Maintain high standards and continuous improvements for housekeeping, ensuring “clean as you go” practices are adhered to.
- Follow the site Safe Start behavioural based program to support a “safety culture” of responsibility and awareness for all employees.
- Support the Production Supervisor in communication and coordination of necessary information to appropriate shift/department staff to ensure effective operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement related activities to improve manufacturing and performance of plant operations and processes.
- Responsible for all the key activities mentioned above and those that are related to and implemented for Animal Nutrition & Health activities on site.

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Any experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment is highly desirable, but not essential as all training and PPE will be provided.
- Be physically fit and happy to complete pre-employment medical testing including drugs and/or alcohol testing.
- A current Forklift Licence will put you at the head of the queue, or the willingness to obtain is highly desirable.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Wagga Wagga region.

Our Valued Client, DSM-Firmenich based in Wagga Wagga, is a manufacturer of Vitamins and Nutrients that are used in animal foods. Their products improve animal health, wellbeing, and performance, while also protecting the environment. They are committed to providing nutritional solutions to produce quality food, while ensuring the health and welfare of the animals that produce it. Their site involves incoming goods in the Logistics Warehouse, Production in the plant and outbound when the product leaves site: these positions may involve Warehouse/Forklift Operations, Weighing/Dispensing of materials; Micro/Macro, Hand tipping, packing and dispatch.
