We are a vibrant, expanding, cloud-based practice that provides accounting and strategic based business advisory services to a diverse local and regional client base. We are looking for an experienced administration professional who is enthusiastic about providing superior customer service and building strong relationships. Our mission is to simplify our client's world by delivering valuable outcomes with passion, energy, and collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide high level administrative support including calendar management, meeting co ordination, document preparation and records management
  • Client administration from job set up to close out
  • Planning and organising group functions and activities, such as travel arrangements, trainings, courses or events, office functions and catering
  • General office admin and reception tasks; including answering phones, greeting clients, mail distribution, stationary orders, banking and firm errands, maintaining general filing and scanning, meeting room maintenance and general cleaning
  • Database management

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a professional services organisation
  • Previous experience in the use of accounting practice management software highly regarded
  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality
  • Deadline orientated with a high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Ability to work without supervision

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Professional presentation with a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • High level communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Ability to plan ahead, anticipate problems and provide solutions
  • Strong IT skills and experience
  • A willingness to learn and exceed expectations
  • Availability to work Wednesday - Friday
