As the receptionist and administration officer and/or office manager, you will be the first point of contact for the Chambers. You will welcome clients and visitors, coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Your duties will also include necessary accounting / bookkeeping functions on behalf of members of the chambers.
Job Role
- Office supplies and management
- General reception duties
- Data entry, reconciliation, invoicing
- Greeting and providing hospitality to clients and visitors
- Answering and transferring calls
- Distributing mail and deliveries
- Organising Board meetings and taking minutes
- Arranging CPD events
- Arranging chambers social functions
- General maintenance and upkeep of chambers
- Regular clean and tidy of kitchen/common area throughout the day
Character, skills and experience
Essential Criteria:
- Good typing skills and speed
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Accounting software familiarity
- Friendly, enthusiastic and ethical
