About the role:
As the Office & Security Coordinator at Arkeus, you will be the key person responsible for ensuring our office operations, safety protocols, and security measures are efficient, effective, and up to date. You’ll manage everything from facilities coordination and workplace safety to physical security and employee well-being.
You will act as both the Safety Officer and Security Officer, ensuring that our office environment is not only compliant with safety regulations but also a place where our team feels secure and supported. Training will be provided if needed, making this a great role for someone eager to grow into a leadership position in office operations and security management.
About you:

- Enthusiastic about maintaining clear policies and procedures to support a safe and productive workplace.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and inform employees about safety, security, and office protocols.
Key responsibilities:
- Proven experience in coordinating day-to-day office operations, including vendor management, facilities upkeep, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment.
- Strong background in implementing workplace safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and managing emergency response procedures (Safety Officer experience is a plus).
- Experience with physical and personnel security, including access control, visitor management, and security risk assessments, ideally within a secure or Defence related environment.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain office, safety, and security policies, with strong skills in training and educating employees on compliance procedures.
- Prior experience working in a Defence company or high-compliance environment with knowledge of security clearances, regulatory standards, and secure operations.
Your experience and skills:
- Ensure the office is always clean, organized, and stocked with supplies that keep employees happy and productive.
- Implement and oversee workplace safety protocols in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Ensure that all employees receive appropriate safety training and that emergency procedures are clearly communicated.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards proactively.
- Manage both physical and personnel security within the office.
- Develop and maintain security policies, including access control, visitor management, and emergency response plans.
- Keep all facilities, safety, and security processes up to date with company requirements.
