Accounts Administration Officer
We are a Building Maintenance company with 20 staff and are looking for an experienced Accounts Administration Officer to join our office team of 5 staff.
About the Position:
Our office is based in Browns Plains Qld
The position is Permanent Full time but we are open to having it Permanent Part time minimum of 32 hours
Hours for this position are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Data Entry into our job management system Ascora (training provided)
- Accounts receivable/payable using QuickBooks / Ascora
- Managing accounts, chasing up overdue invoices and orders
- Liaising with clients
- Keeping on top of emails and client queries
- Ability to lead a small team of admin personnel when required.
Skills and Abilities
To be successful in this role the applicant will possess a number of skills and abilities including:
- Previous experience in an administration / accounts role
- Previous work within construction industry is highly desirable.
- Proficient across Email applications
- Previous experience with QuickBooks will be highly regarded but training can be provided
- Ability to professionally manage and prioritise workload
- Demonstrate a high attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and service excellence with clear and concise communication
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
- Self-motivated and take initiative without direction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and organisational skills
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to think on the fly and be re-active to issues that arise throughout the day
- Willing to talk to internal and external suppliers/contractors to deal with issues when they arise
