• ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR
• $90,000 plus Super
• This role would suit a career AP officer and would manage End to End AP with the support of an accounts payable officer.
• Central CBD location in premium office

The role:

• Manage weekly verify process of 2000+ invoices per week
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• EFT and credit card payment runs
• Credit card reconciliations
• Provide weekly payment/cashflow reports
• Maintain a high volume accounts payable inbox
• Adhering to invoice approval procedures
• Ensuring all invoices are coded to the correct GL account
• Ensuring GST is accurately recorded
• Database management
• Process improvement
• Mentor Accounts Payable officer

Skills and attributes

• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong work ethic and be willing to assist the finance team
• Ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance, be able to set goals and report on progress

Experience

• 5+ years Accounts Payable experience
• Hospitality accounting experience preferable
• Mentoring / Supervising team members

Essential Systems experience

• MYOB Advanced (Acumatica)
• Intermediate excel
• Lightyear AP
