Thera is an agriculture non-bank lender based in Sydney. We finance farmland, livestock and crops for farmers.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to be an important member of our high performance credit team based in the Sydney CBD and reporting to our head of capital and credit. The role includes;

• liaising directly with external finance brokers, our relationship managers and farmer clients through the finance application, diligence, underwriting and renewals processes
• developing farm financing opportunities, considering the economics, risks, structures and commercials of each finance deal
• preparing and presenting credit memorandums for investment committee consideration
• preparing instructions for our legal team for farmer finance facility documentation
• and finally, whatever else we need assistance with across our business.

You must meet the following criteria for consideration;

• You will have an economics, accounting or finance tertiary education,
• be genuinely interested in the agriculture sector,
• have at least three years agri-banking/finance sector experience,
• be fluent in written and spoken English
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills
