Your Role
As a Manager, Senior Manager or Director in the team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality state tax advisory and transaction services to top-tier clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Tax Due Diligence – Leading buy-side and sell-side due diligence, identifying duty and land tax exposures and providing risk assessments.
- Transaction Structuring – Advising on the duty implications of mergers, acquisitions, restructures and divestments.
- Implementation & Compliance – Identifying duty obligations, managing submissions for lodgements and liaising with revenue authorities.
- Advisory & Dispute Resolution – Providing strategic tax advice, managing disputes and supporting clients in navigating complex tax issues.
- Industry Leadership – Staying ahead of legislative changes and contributing to thought leadership and training within the team.
Role Requirements
This role is seeking driven tax professionals with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in State Taxes, with exposure to M&A transactions and structuring.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a high-performing team.
- A proactive mindset and the ambition to develop into a senior leadership role.
