About you:

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to make an impact? Sydney Freezers is seeking a Pricing Analyst to play a key role in shaping and implementing our pricing strategies. In this role, you will support business performance by ensuring our wholesale prices remain competitive while maintaining sustainable margins for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell Price Management: Implement and maintain pricing strategies across the business to enhance brand positioning and commercial performance.
• Business Analysis: Use data analytics to measure pricing effectiveness, ensuring products remain competitive in the market.
• Competitive Market Analysis: Monitor competitors and market trends to identify key opportunities and points of difference within product categories.
• Collaboration & Strategy Execution: Work closely with Business Development Managers and Sales Managers to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies.
• Forecasting & Performance Tracking: Measure wholesale margins, category profitability, and pricing initiatives to drive sustainable sales growth.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure pricing accuracy across all product categories and maintain compliance with pricing policies.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in FMCG (wholesale) or data/business analytics; retail experience will also be considered.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to extract, interpret, and present data insights.
• Relationship Development: Strong stakeholder management skills with a proactive approach to addressing business needs and resolving conflicts.
• Time Management: Ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
