INTERIOR DESIGNER ROLE

Medibuilt is a leading Australian design and build company specialising in quality healthcare projects based in Sydney. We are looking for an experienced, creative and detail-oriented interior designer to join our growing team.

We specialise in the design and fitout of dental, medical and specialist clinics and provide end-to-end design services from concept through to detailed construction documentation.

Key requirements:

• Interior designer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and/or healthcare design
• Excellent AutoCad, SketchUp + Adobe Skills with proven design and drafting ability
• Confidence in client-facing meetings
• Positive, and professional attitude towards clients, fellow co-workers and all associated consultants and suppliers
• Past experience working with a collaborative, creative and resourceful team & have worked across various phases of projects and have an eagerness to learn and develop your skills further.
• Initiative to think outside the square and problem solve for best outcomes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously
• Possess exceptional attention to detail and a good understanding of commercial and/or healthcare construction detailing
• Familiar with Australian building regulations and standards
• Bachelor degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Advanced interior design diploma with a passion for interior design and architecture
• Full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare concept designs to pitch for projects and potential clients
• Prepare space planning, test fitting and schematic design schemes for interior design projects
• Prepare design development presentations and documentation
• Liaise with co workers, clients and associated consultants and suppliers
• Prepare construction documentation package including drawings, schedules and specifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
