We are currently recruiting for an Interior Designer with a refined aesthetic sensibility and holistic project approach to join an International Design practice based in Sydney.

This globally recognised practice brings a wealth of international design perspective to the Australian multi-residential landscape, creating thoughtfully curated interiors that connect residents to both intimate private sanctuaries and vibrant communal spaces. Due to an expanding portfolio of prestigious multi-residential developments, our client requires a talented Interior Designer with experience across all project phases—from conceptual design through to delivery and completion.

About the role:

• Permanent Full-time

• Salary range - Competitive and discretionary pending experience

• Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship is required
• A minimum of 3-7 years of local experience is required
• ArchiCAD experience preferred (training available for candidates with exceptional project experience)

In the role of an Interior Designer, you will be part of the following tasks:

• Develop comprehensive interior schemes that respond to client briefs and architectural context
• Create cohesive material palettes and finishes selections that elevate residential spaces
• Design custom joinery, bespoke elements and spatial interventions
• Develop detailed documentation packages for tender and construction
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve complex design challenges
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and contractors to realise design intent
• Attend site inspections to ensure quality control during construction
• Contribute to the studio's design culture through research and knowledge sharing

In the role of an Interior Designer, we require you to have the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field
• Minimum 3-7 years' professional experience within the Australian market
• Demonstrated experience working on multi-residential projects across all phases
• Understanding of large-scale residential typologies and spatial planning principles
• Experience with documentation and detailing for construction
• ArchiCAD proficiency preferred (training available for exceptional candidates)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design sensibility and technical capability
• Full working rights in Australia (Citizenship or PR)
• Currently residing in Sydney
