About our client:

Our client is an international freight forwarding company who provides worldwide air and sea service. They pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a friendly work environment for all staff.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring customer enquiries are managed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and deliver excellent customer service to a portfolio of clients
• Manage import and export sea operations using CargoWise
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines ensuring shipments are executed in the most cost/time efficient manner
• Monitor and update shipment status reports
• Respond to queries from overseas offices, suppliers and clients
• Support the sales and management team
• Other duties as required by the Branch Manager

Skills and experience:

• Customer service experience in freight forwarding
• Import air and sea operations experience
• Export air and sea operations experience, not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of computer literacy and experience in using CargoWise 1 software
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, agents, staff and all stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
