AMS e Group is a leading ecommerce customs clearance & 3PL distribution company with facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland. We are currently recruiting a Sydney based Customer Service Manager.

You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on operational performance as well as investigating and resolving exceptions and failures. Working closely with CEO you will be an integral part of customer support, communication and success, to identify and implement improvement opportunities across the business.

Key Responsibilities would include:

  • Management of the whole customer service experience and team
  • Maintaining and developing long term relationships with key clients
  • Working with clients to improve information flow
  • Team training
  • Monitoring and updating carrier performance
  • Setting and ensuring KPIs and targets are met
  • Management of improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience we are looking for

  • Experience in the freight forwarding, ecommerce or 3PL supplier space in a similar customer facing role
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Investigation and root cause analysis
  • High level of interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communications
  • Willingness to take on new things, cross train and take ownership
  • experience with zen desk
