Your new company

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a non-for-profit healthcare organisation based out of Sydney's Inner-West on a single site. In this role, you will be working as a hands-on Maintenance Officer/Facilities Officer and become an integral part of the daily operations of the facility, reporting to the Facility Manager and assisting them with the delivery of hard service on site.

Your new role

You will be responsible for a range of maintenance and facilities tasks on site. Your general responsibilities will be as follows :

• General maintenance tasks, painting/patching, basis carpentry, plumbing, event set-ups and other ad hoc requests.
• Using a general maintenance reporting system and keeping accurate records of work completed.
• Organising contractors for work outside of general maintenance scope and coordinating contractors on site.
• Adhering to OHS policies
• Comfortable driving, as you will need to collect deliveries and materials from stores.
• Interacting with external and internal stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a police check
• Previous facilities' maintenance experience (healthcare/medical highly regarded)
• Great customer service skills
• Comfortable with technology as you will be using internal systems
