About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dental Technician, specialising in Ceramics to join our team in Subiaco, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting exceptional dental prosthetics and restorations, utilising your expertise in dental ceramics and advanced techniques.

What you'll be doing

• Design, fabricate and finish a wide range of dental prosthetics and restorations using advanced digital techniques.
• Designing and fabricating high-end ceramic restorations, including crowns and bridges utilising the latest techniques and technologies.
• Applying layering, staining and glazing techniques to achieve natural aesthetics.
• Design and trim Frameworks, design complex implant cases, carry out milling and 3D printing tasks.
• Collaborate closely with dentists to ensure the optimal fit, function and aesthetic of each custom-made restoration, including case planning.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and quality control throughout the production process
• Continuously develop your technical skills and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental ceramics and materials
• Mentor and train junior dental technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in dental technology, with a specialisation in dental ceramics
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Dental Technician - Ceramist, within a dental laboratory setting
• Demonstrated expertise in the full range of dental ceramic techniques, including anterior and posterior layering, staining and glazing
• Experience in designing complex implant cases, and exposure to full-arch implant prosthetics
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with dental professionals
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of advancements in dental technology
