About the Role
The successful candidate will have/demonstrate the following skills, attributes, and experience:
- Dental Technician Qualifications
- 3+ years working as a Dental Ceramist (highly regarded)
- CAD experience (3Shape/ExoCAD experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Crown and Bridge technology
- Knowledge of tooth anatomy, form and function
- Eye for detail - Produce artistic, aesthetic and quality dental work
- Excellent time management skills
- Be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- A positive attitude and good communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- A keen interest in exploring digital dental technology, including 3D printing (highly valued)
- Be an Australian citizen or have a valid Australian visa with work rights/be onshore
Additional Responsibilities
The dental technician will also be responsible for:
- Assisting in other areas of the laboratory, i.e. Prosthetics, Polishing Splints & Model fabrication (analog or digital)
- Ensuring workplace cleanliness
- Participate in internal and external training as required
- Share suggestions for improvements within the laboratory
- Communicate ideas about case design
