The role
You will provide advanced strategic program coordination and leadership for the bowel and cervical screening programs. To provide advice and analysis for the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives at the state levels to improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders, by increasing participation in cancer screening programs.
The successful person
You will have:
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree in Public Health and/or Health Promotion. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of duties.
- Demonstrated track record to the application of specialised level of knowledge, analysis, expertise and skills to the development of systemic and effective solutions to complex preventive health policy and cancer screening program challenges.
- Demonstrated track record to coordinate and lead strategic change through effective communication, consultation and negotiation skills and through shaping program reforms, driving innovation and enabling quality improvement.
- Demonstrated track record of flexibility in approach to work and working environment and willingness to participate in cross program initiatives and a change agenda.
