Our Client is a leading wholesale supplier specialising in licensed souvenirs and custom promotional products. They have a commitment to quality and innovation and they cater to a range of clients around Australia - offering a vast selection of unique and customisable items. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to work with their wide array of independent clients. The "Indies" are the smaller-sized clients that are separate from large retail chains.
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining strong relationships with these valued clients. This position involves a combination of account management, order processing, and proactive sales initiatives. If you are a passionate, customer-focused individual with a flair for business development and an interest in providing your clients with solutions rather than just ‘selling off the shelf’, we invite you to apply.
Your role:
- Build and nurture relationships with clients through regular communication.
- Understand client needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Regular and positive contact with your clients.
- Actively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise revenue.
- Follow up all opportunities and quotes
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for business growth.
- Assist in developing promotional campaigns and sales materials.
The Candidate:
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise as well as work to deadlines.
- Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role
- Able to work in a busy focused team
- Knowledge of B2B sales support
- An inquisitive mind
- Team-focused with a strong can-do
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suites.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
