Light My Bricks is the worlds leading LEGO lighting and accessories company, operating in Australia, US, EU, Canada, UK and now Asia.

We are seeking a talented Product and Procurement Director to join us as we advance into new product verticals, new markets and focus heavily on innovation.

The Product and Procurement Director is responsible for driving the Light My Bricks global product, supply chain, Inventory and logistics strategy. This includes all aspects of product design, supply chain operations & optimization, compliance, legislation and international trade.

This role is critical for Light My Bricks as we grow the business globally, entering into new product verticals and markets. This role requires a very high level of attention to detail, excellent data analysis, extensive business acumen and the ability to work cross functionally with speed to maintain strict deadlines.

1. Product

o Provide vision, leadership and clarity to the product design team to ensure optimised processes and speed to market for all product categories

o Create visibility across the organization on roadmaps, timelines and project plans pertaining to key milestones and deliverables

o Lead a robust customer centric design approach, with structure around user and market research to validate thinking and prototypes

o Constant pressure testing of new ideas and pushing boundaries for driving best of breed product concepts

2. Supply Chain

o Lead the end to end global supply chain strategy including the sourcing of manufacturing partners, raw materials and finished goods.

o Develop and manage a robust procurement and onboarding strategy for all new partners and maintenance of QA and SLA’s

o Ensure all operations and aspects of the supply chain are cost effective, efficient and industry leading

o Develop, plan and execute strategies to minimize cost and reduce economic trade risk

3. Global Fulfillment

o Develop, drive and optimise the global fulfillment strategy in conjunction with the Omnichannel Director

o Continuous improvement and optimization of global fulfilment including 3PLs, shipping, freight, stock consideration and movement

4. Inventory Management

o Drive & lead the global inventory planning strategy to ensure inventory levels are optimized, able to meet sales targets while minimizing aged stock

o Develop clear stock exit strategies for aged and underperforming stock

o Develop inventory forecasts based on sales data to meet demands and production timelines

5. Risk Management and Compliance

o Direct responsibility for risk mitigation of the supply chain, ensuring the ability to pivot quickly in response to risk, international trade agreements and changes and adaptability into new markets & product verticals

o Responsibility for global compliance of product categories and legislative requirements

6. Budget Management:

o Diligently manage the Supply Chain/ Product budget to ensure efficient expenditure

o Regular reporting & ownership of data, insights and inventory

Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of senior experience in product strategy, supply chain management, procurement, or a similar role.

• Advanced understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.

• Experience using ERP systems, supply chain management software, and forecasting tools.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
