About the Role

This role is all about managing our online presence, keeping our sales CRM in top shape, and assisting our CEO with administrative and financial tasks. Plus, you'll have a chance to dive into some tech development if that interests you!

Located in the heart of South Melbourne, our office is buzzing with energy. While we support remote work, we love having our team together as much as possible in the office to spark creativity and collaboration. Who This Role Might Be Suitable For

This role is perfect for someone eager to get involved with a growing software company, whether you're currently studying or looking to break into the marketing and sales industry. With the team often busy with Mesh projects, we need a self-motivated individual who can take the lead on Parsel tasks and keep the team accountable.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Support the sales team in generating leads and managing customer relationships.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, including email enquiries and social media enquiries.
• Identify and follow up on sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to raise awareness of Parsel and generate interest in our product.
• Engage with potential customers through various channels, including online and trade show events.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
• Create and manage content for social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms (including copywriting and some basic graphics).
• Coordinate and participate in promotional events and trade shows.
• Prepare sales reports and presentations for management.
• Provide administrative support to the Parsel team.

Qualifications

• Experience or study (competed or ongoing) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Pipedrive, MailChimp or similar software is a plus.
• Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in learning about new technologies and industry trends.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative and embrace challenges.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• An understanding of planning, land development, or related fields would be an absolute bonus, but not essential!
