As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in shaping our visual identity and marketing efforts.
Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating compelling visual content and supporting marketing initiatives across multiple brands within our company. This role requires a mix of creativity, attention to detail, and strategic thinking to ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and business objectives. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, digital marketing, and brand storytelling, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The role will primarily involve working closely with the Senior Designer and Directors, in developing and executing a range of marketing and communications focused tasks. This includes web-based, social, email campaigns, limited print, stakeholder liaison via phone and the utilization of a range of digital tools. A keen interest, or experience in the use of AI tools and optimisation tools is well regarded, with the ability to work autonomously throughout a typical working period being important.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns that align with each brand's unique identity and business goals
- Develop and design marketing materials, including digital and print assets such as social media graphics, website banners, email templates, brochures, presentations and advertisements
- Oversee social media management, including content creation, planning, scheduling, posting, and monitoring engagement across platforms, working closely with the marketing team to drive brand awareness
- Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including designing templates and analysing performance metrics
- Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage
- Manage and update website content and digital assets to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Work with external vendors, such as printers and agencies, to ensure high-quality production of marketing materials
- Assist in photography, video editing, and other multimedia projects as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all touchpoints
- Stay up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the company's marketing strategies
- Assist in event planning and promotional activities, including the design of event collateral
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Friendly phone-manner, with experience in calling for detail verification and general phone tasks
- Database creation and cleaning
- General admin support if required
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design and marketing, preferably in an in-house or agency setting
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent) and other design tools
- Experience in social media management, including content creation, scheduling and engagement tracking
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Klayvio, etc
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including social media, email marketing and website management
- Excellent visual design skills with an eye for typography, layout and branding
- Excellent retouching and image manipulation skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with video editing and motion graphics is highly advantageous
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow or basic understanding of CSS / HTML is a plus
- A creative problem-solver with a strong ability to communicate ideas and work collaboratively within a team environment

The role is based in Geelong and offered on a FT basis, with flexible work arrangements and the ability to adjust to 4 days optional for the right candidate.
