Sales and Marketing Partnerships Executive

Job Summary
This role drives B2B sales, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives while collaborating with digital media operations. With a focus on identifying and managing business growth opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting promotional activities, the position requires strong sales acumen, communication, and project management skills to coordinate with internal and external teams. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is instrumental in helping to shape strategic direction and drive growth by implementing impactful sales and partnership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales, Customer Engagement & Marketing
- Develop and execute sales strategies, including email campaigns, promotions, and sales materials to drive revenue growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, libraries, and institutional partners, fostering long-term relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries related to content access, licensing, and metadata, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Analyse audience engagement and market trends, providing recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
2. Internal Coordination & Team Relationship Management
- Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, developer, and social media teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Assign and oversee tasks for part-time staff, aligning efforts with sales and business goals.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication to improve workflow efficiency and execution.
3. Content & Platform Liaison
- Assist with film and digital media asset delivery platform quality assurance.
- Engage with quality control checks on media files and metadata to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with content curation across audience streaming offerings.
4. Technical & Process Improvement
- Implement workflows and identify efficiencies in key sales and marketing processes

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, customer engagement, digital media operations, or licensing.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM), institutional sales, and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to track engagement and platform performance.
- Proven project management and coordination skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise between technical, legal, and business teams.
- Knowledge of digital asset management, VOD distribution, and metadata standards.
- Experience with content licensing agreements, DRM, and compliance requirements.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills within the media or technology sector.
- Experience working with libraries, librarians, educators, and/or the film and media industry is a plus!
