About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent guest and team member experience. A Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest
standards:

• Carry out maintenance repair work and respond to enquires efficiently
• Work cooperatively as part of the Maintenance team
• Follow planned preventative maintenance programmes
• Build good relationships with guests, team members and contractors
• Ensure energy conservation initiatives are implemented
• Ensure our hotel is compliant in regards to legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and all local by-laws
  
  

What are we looking for?

We’re on the lookout for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team for 3 shifts per week (mostly during weekdays) To successfully fill this role, you should embody our Hilton values and bring the following:

• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Ability to work on their own and with the Maintenance team
• Previous maintenance experience including plumbing, painting and decorating.
• Grade A electrical license would be highly regarded
