About the role
MSS Security is seeking a driven Control Room Supervisor to join our team at Monash University. Take the lead in overseeing Control Room operations and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to the Monash University community.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the control room, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Lead and guide a team of control room operators, maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism.

Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure timely action.

Enforcing up to date Site Standing Orders and communicating changes of policy, procedures, and operating requirements.

Provide coaching, training, and support to the control room team to maintain operational excellence.

Ensuring that all incidents are reported through the correct channels and the appropriate actions are taken.

Ensuring weekly and / or monthly KPIs are achieved and reported.

Ideal candidates will have:

Experience in using Milestone CCTV, Inner Range/Infiniti Security System and resolver reporting system would be preferable.

Strong understanding of various CCTV, access control systems and investigation report writing.

Proven experience working in a security control room.

Proven experience in team management.

Requirements:

Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations

Security licence with control room subcategory

Full Australian working rights

Working with children check (or willing to obtain)

Valid First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)

Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
