Our federal government client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

This 6-month non-ongoing opportunity is available at an APS5 or APS6 level and is based in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a workplace adjustment framework, including policies and procedures.
• Provide expert advice and support to employees and managers on workplace adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and privacy requirements.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across internal and external networks.
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and confidential environment for discussions.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with experience handling sensitive information confidentially.
• Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic and evolving setting.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory.
• Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
