We are regarded as one of the leading independently owned groups in the automotive industry. We are now looking to fill an exciting, fast-paced role in Internal Sales for the Group.

About The Role

The role is for an enthusiastic, highly driven and dynamic sales team member who will not only join a winning team but also directly impact the overall continual improvement, efficiency and productivity of the business.

A background in the Auto Electrical industry will be an advantage, however, the right applicant with a positive attitude and sales-focused mentality is also encouraged.

Skills & Experience

Proven

• Sales or customer facing experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines given by management and customers.
• High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to write emails.
• Highly self-motivated, assertive and not afraid to make a decision that is within scope.
• Results-oriented and can build strong relationships externally and internally
• A continuous improvement mindset for process and customer service
• Current Drivers License

Desired

• A background in the Auto Electrical industry or similar industry would be preferred, but not essential.
• Highly developed computer skills and literacy, with a demonstrated capacity to learn new IT systems and software platforms.
• Sales/Customer service experience in Automotive setting highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day internal sales of the OzLED Group. This will be done face-to-face, by phone and via email.
• Seeing the customer experience through from the start to the finish.
• Adhere to existing processes and take a proactive approach to the continual improvement and implementation of these processes.
• Sales of Automotive LED Lighting, Auto Electrical components (high emphasis on automotive cable & connectors), workshop consumables, tools and equipment.
• Achieving monthly sales targets and quotas (both team and individual).
• Plan and execute sales strategies, forecasts and goals that have the potential to drive business growth (based on analytical data-driven decisions to achieve the company’s objectives).
• Working with all team members (both internally and within the OzLED Group) to identify opportunities for continual improvement, create action plans and receive commitments to ensure outcomes/results are achieved.
• Liaising with all staff members to ensure that the brands within the OzLED Group are being promoted to the required level.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.
