The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has become available for a confident and detail-orientated full time accounts officer to join our established Body Corporate company based in Southport, Gold Coast.

This role involves assisting finance departments for bodies corporate in collaboration with a finance team and supporting a team of body corporate professionals, so will ideally suit a proactive and focused individual who thrives on learning and working in a team environment. The Duties

Your duties may include but not limited to:

• Processing end-of-financial-year adjustments
• Preparing budgets and levy calculations
• Liaising with auditors and providing assistance as needed
• Supporting portfolio managers with finance-related tasks for annual general meetings
• Communicating with owners and committees via email and phone
• Assisting the finance team as needed
• Engaging in monthly finance team meetings through participation and collaboration
• Comprehensive training and ongoing support provided

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven work experience as an finance officer or similar role
• Attention to details
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a professional attitude and appearance
• Have excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team

*** experience using StrataMax software is highly favourable
