Our client has secured a long-term contract with a major Gold Producer in Kalgoorlie and is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Resource Allocator to join their operations team!

About the Role:

As a Resource Allocator, you will play a critical role in coordinating personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth daily operations. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring morning mobilisations and tracking job progress using GPS and direct communication.
  • Liaising with depot and site supervisors to ensure operational efficiency and client commitments are met.
  • Addressing last-minute scheduling changes, breakdowns, and resource adjustments.
  • Completing and updating daily run sheets, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Participating in operational meetings to review job performance, outstanding tasks, and resource allocations.
  • Preparing and providing quotes for clients based on job requirements.
  • Assisting in planning, scheduling in operational software systems, and job pack preparation for upcoming work.
  • Ensuring seamless handover of operational plans to depot coordinators.
  • Supporting the compliance and maintenance teams with work order allocations and scheduling.
  • Providing end-of-day reports summarising outstanding tasks and key operational updates.

What You Need:

  • Experience in resource allocation, scheduling, or operations coordination in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using GPS tracking and scheduling software. (Assignar experience preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage last-minute changes efficiently.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to daily challenges.
