We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Allocator to join our Concrete Division. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery experience for our customers by effectively managing fleet allocation, communicating updates, and coordinating with internal teams. About the Position:
The Allocator is responsible for ensuring that concrete deliveries run smoothly and efficiently, providing customers with a seamless and proactive experience. This is a fast-paced and vital role within the team that requires strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Allocate loads to relevant fleet while ensuring optimal fleet effectiveness
- Coordinate with customers to ensure smooth deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain proactive communication with customers during the delivery process
- Work closely with the Planners and Allocations Team to manage schedules and reallocate work if required
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting in T&S and Syncrotess systems
- Assist in troubleshooting mix specification issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure a safe and efficient working environment adhering to company policies and procedures
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of VCE or equivalent; tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are desirable
- Experience in logistics, scheduling, or customer-focused roles in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Medium-level Excel skills and familiarity with data and master data systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
