About the role

Our client is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join their modern and well-equipped dental clinic in Lane Cove . As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentists and providing exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and ensuring the work area is clean and organised
• Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
• Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring they feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients
• Maintaining a high standard of infection control and following all relevant health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• A certified Dental Assistant qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to put patients at ease
• A team player with a positive and adaptable attitude
