As a Selling Consultant, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing this legacy.
What You’ll Do
Alumni Networking & Business Development
Leveraging Scotwork’s >28,000 local network of Australian alumni and success stories, the successful candidate will generate revenue through both new business development and growing accounts.
Negotiation Training and Advisory
Scotwork Consultants deliver highly engaging and practical negotiation skills training, provide strategic negotiation support, and even lead negotiations on behalf of clients. The successful candidate will begin this journey as a junior consultant by becoming a student of negotiation, completing our ‘train the trainer’ and co-facilitating course delivery. With time and experience, successful consultants progress to leading courses and supporting clients in their live negotiations.
Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Develop and share thought leadership content to position Scotwork as an industry leader.
- Be a Brand Ambassador through alumni networking and engaging with Scotwork’s social media and marketing efforts to enhance visibility.
Progression Opportunities to Partnership

Who You Are
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven business-to-business sales experience (selling professional services is preferred).
- Strong commercial business experience with a consultative approach.
- Comfortable engaging with senior executives, HR, procurement, sales, and other key decision-makers.
- Experience in facilitation, coaching, or public speaking is advantageous.
- University education is advantageous

- Negotiation Skills – We don’t expect you to already be a master of negotiation, instead we will make you a master. We expect you to bring your business battle scars and become a student of negotiation, continuously developing your expertise.
- Presentation & Facilitation – Strong public speaking skills and the ability to engage diverse groups.
- Emotional Intelligence & Empathy – Ability to read the room, manage challenging participants, and build meaningful connections.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving – Quickly assess client needs, apply Scotwork’s negotiation frameworks, and deliver insightful advice.
- Coaching & Feedback – Ability to coach participants, provide constructive feedback, and adapt to different learning styles.
